What To Expect.
Thank you for choosing Wood Dale Dental – where we treat our patients like family. Below is an overview of what you can expect between now and the end of your first visit. We look forward to meeting you and helping you and your family with all of your dental needs.
3. What To Bring
Please bring your new patient paper work, a valid drivers license, and your previous dental records. To print off a copy of our new patient paperwork, click here. By bringing in the paperwork filled out, you will save yourself time in our office. If you are unable to do this ahead of time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to accommodate the time needed to fill out this information. If you have previous dental records, please call your previous dental provider and ask them to fax the records to Wood Dale Dental at (630) 766-3840. Note: Some dental providers may require you to pick up the records in person. In that case, please pick up your records and bring them with you to your first appointment. |
4. New Patient Visit
Please allow about an hour for your first exam. If you haven’t had recent dental x-rays, then x-rays will be taken on your initial exam. During this exam, we will check for periodontal disease and discuss any other problem areas that you might have. If you have any concerns, make sure to mention that to your dentist during the examination. If everything looks good, we will then proceed with your general cleaning. If any further work is required, we will take the time to discuss your recommended treatment plan including cost and additional treatments. We pride ourselves on the amount of time we spend with our patients, ensuring that all of their questions are answered thoroughly. |
If you have any questions about your first appointment, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at (630) 426-7652. We will do whatever we can to help you have a pleasant experience and we are happy to accommodate you and your family.
