In-Office Whitening
ZOOM! Whitening: This is a fast acting whitening procedure done right in our office. This painless procedure uses a hydrogen peroxide-based gel that is applied to your teeth. The gel is then activated using a mercury metal halide light, treating all of your teeth at the same time. The ZOOM! Whitening procedure is performed at our dental office and will take about an hour to perform. However, the results from this one visit will be comparable to the tray bleaching, which generally takes 10-14 days. |
At-Home Whitening
Tray Bleaching: This method of whitening is an effective and long lasting solution to getting whiter teeth. A custom tray is fitted to your teeth so that you can use to fill with a gel. When you use a custom fitted tray, it is more likely that you will get all surfaces of your teeth and give you a professional feeling of whitening. Only provided by dental offices, this whitening gel is created so that it will not cause irritation to your gums. It is recommended that the trays be worn twice a day for 30 minutes or overnight for a couple of weeks. Results can be seen as early as 3-5 days of use, but most often takes 10-14 days. This method is convenient because you can do it right from home while you are doing other things. |
